Object Mapping
One
of the most tedious tasks in electromechanical is the mapping of logical
objects to physical objects. Although many procedures have been automated,
many do not take advantage of best practices. Most do not integrate enterprise
knowledge such as manufacturability or service.
The VEMS Logical <-> Physical Module is an engine that reviews
best practice rules and enterprise knowledge during the assignment of logical
to physical devices rather than simply assigning an object to another discrete
object.
