Schematics and 2D layout harness definition including symbols, connections, and circuits are exchanged to and from Schematic in VEMS.

VEMS associates schematic and layout information with System Engineering and Instance type objects respectively. One of the core strategies of VEMS is the ability to manage and relate Systems and Instantiated objects.
